Performative movement with founded objects, photo, video
The project was realized during the Polytopia online residency and in “Co.iki” art residency in Tokyo. Through the specifics of the environment (a hidden ocean shore in Miyazaki, Japan), I explore identity/non-identity, the state of transition between environments, considering my body as an immigrant/stranger. Through performative movement, I explore my body's memory (from childhood, forgotten or no longer used) by interacting with the environment, as well as with objects that migrated from the overseas after the typhoon. These objects are a metaphor for migration, forgotten memory and contribute to the idea that once discarded or lost, things do not go away, nor does the memory of things.
